Creating an atmosphere of inclusion is vital to the Aquatic Plant Management Society (APMS). Contributions and perspectives from all members, students, event participants, and our local and international communities are important. We recognize that embracing and encouraging diversity is critical to fulfilling our mission to ‘Provide a forum for the discovery and dissemination of scientific information that advances aquatic plant and algae management policy and practice’. APMS will strive to further cultivate a Society built on mentorship, encouragement, tolerance, and mutual respect, and foster a welcoming environment for all.
