David Isaacs

David Isaacs has dedicated a lifetime to not only the Aquatics Industry, but he also worked for Aquatic Control, Inc. his entire career. Mr. Isaacs began working for Aquatic Control in 1966. From 1973 – 1980 he served as Laboratory Director; from 1977 – 1988, he served as Fish Hatchery Manager; from 1988 – 1997 he served as Manager of Fountains/Aeration; in 1997 he was named VP of Aquatic Control and he was elected President of the company in 2000 where he served until 2017.


Mr. Isaacs earned a lifetime of achievement and is an industry leader. He is a life member of the American Fisheries Society (AFS), a member of the fish culture section of AFS, and a charter member of the Indiana AFS Chapter where he served as Secretary-Treasurer (1976) and President (1984). Mr. Isaacs is a member of the Sigma Zeta Honorary Science Society. He also played a primary role in the formation of the Indiana Aquaculture Association where he served as the Charter President, served on the board of directors from 1987 – 2001, and served a second term as President in 1995.


This industry leader was elected to the board of directors of the Midwest chapter of APMS from 2000 – 2017. He served as president of MAPMS in 2003 and 2009. Mr. Isaacs served on the board of directors for national APMS from 2013 – 2015. He is also a member of the Indiana Lake Management Society, Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Foundation, and Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment.
