In an effort to provide technical information and raise awareness of the science and practice of aquatic plant and algae management, the national APMS is working with the Midwest APMS  (www.mapms.org) in conference co-sponsorship and organization of a special symposium on the status and future outlook of aquatic plant and algae management at the Joint Aquatic Sciences Meeting (JASM – https://jasm2022.aquaticsocieties.org/) May 14-20, 2022 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The JASM hybrid conference is billed as the ‘world’s largest gathering of aquatic scientists, students, practitioners, resource agency staff, and industry representatives in history.’   It represents a wonderful opportunity for APMS to highlight its specialized efforts to numerous other groups involved with aquatic resource management. Please consider attending the conference in-person or online.
